AIMEE RUIZ, L.AC.
Women's health is my passion. In particular, I get a deep joy working with clients for their conception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. My training as a doula and my advanced post-graduate fertility, prenatal and birth education have laid the foundation for my integrative work. My training with renowned midwife Raven Lang has inspired my bustling prenatal practice. I have also trained extensively with Claudia Citkovitz, L.Ac., in labor and delivery acupuncture in New York and attended births in both hospital and home environments.
Chinese medicine's thoughtful view of our emotions and the mind, body, spirit connection has always resonated deeply with me. Before discovering Chinese medicine, I studied and worked in the fields of psychology and social work.
I am a nationally certified and California-licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. I received my Master’s of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. When I'm not working, I'm either in a dance class, hiking around the Bay area, watching an independent film or eating some amazing Bay Area cuisine.

KARRIN CHEIFETZ, L.AC.
I grew up being taken to a master herbalist in Chicago's Chinatown, forming an early appreciation of the effectiveness of Chinese medicine. My own journey into the healing arts began as a doula, assisting births in hospitals, birth centers, and homes. This work accompanying people in life's transitions and transformations led me to specialize in Chinese medicine for reproductive and perinatal care. I also treat digestive conditions, mental and emotional complaints, chronic and acute pain, and sleep issues.
Before becoming an acupuncturist, I attended the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University where I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies.
A California-licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, I received my Master's of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College of Berkeley.
When not practicing medicine, I am often walking outside, reveling in the natural world with my dog or a friend. I also love sitting with a book in a cafe and a warm cup of chai, experimenting with a new recipe at home, or FaceTiming with my 5 year-old nephew in Minneapolis.
