about my book:
Feng Shui Your Mind

     Fertility - Naturally

Are you trying to conceive? Is the cycle of rising hopes and frustrated dreams leaving you stressed out and exhausted? Many women come to my office after months or years of allopathic fertility treatment. They’ve spent thousands of dollars on injectable and other forms of medication. But their bodies still aren’t ready to bear children. The body is very finely tuned—even a small misalignment can prevent conception.  But acupuncture can help remove barriers to conception by bringing your body to optimal health.

Conception and successful birth rely on a healthy uterus, strong ovaries, and an abundant sperm count. Physical imbalances can effect the physiology of fertility, as well as cause menstrual abnormalities. If you’re having trouble getting pregnant, the imbalances in your body that are inhibiting your fertility have probably been building for a long time. Fortunately, Chinese medicine is very effective for resolving the root-causes of these imbalances. Acupuncture, coupled with herbal therapy and nutritional counseling, can help your body return to optimal functioning in a matter of months. As a result, your ability to conceive and maintain a healthy pregnancy increases dramatically. Many of my fertility clients find themselves pregnant in three to nine months.

Acupuncture is often used alongside western treatment, including injectables such as IUI and IVF. Research has shown that acupuncture dramatically increases the success rate of allopathic infertility treatments—up to 40%.

Researchers from Weill Cornell Medical Center found that acupuncture can:

  • Reduce stress hormones that may be keeping you from ovulating
  • Normalize the hormones that regulate ovulation so that an egg is released
  • Increase blood flow to your uterus, improving the chances that a fertilized egg will implant
  • Improve ovulation cycles in women with polycystic ovary syndrome—which may be keeping you from getting pregnant
  • Improve pregnancy rates in women undergoing in vitro fertilization

Acupuncture is an amazing tool, with proven success rates for helping women conceive, and maintain healthy pregnancies. I can help your body prepare for pregnancy. The next eighteen years are up to you!
